What's in a Name

Named after watching Wonders of the Universe over the Chrismas period. Borosilicate glass has such sparkle and depth my camera just doesn't do it justice.

Twelfth Night

I always dread putting up the Christmas decorations but love it when they're up. For me the twinkling lights add a bit of colour and sparkle to the short Winter days but all good things come to an end and it's time for them to go back in their boxes until next Christmas. One advantage, my house looks clean, neat and tidy now but not as cosy. Oh well, can't have everything.

Good News, Bad News

Despite the continuing wind and rain the evenings are definitely staying lighter just that bit longer and depending on your point of view the inclement weather does have it's good side. So, the good news is that in hiding from the rain at my beady bench I've created some new designs, the bad news is that I've not been able to get a decent photo. Hopefully I'll have some photos for you by the end of the week.

Featured Guest Spot

On my cyber travels I've come across many wonderfully talented people whose beautiful creations you won't find on the high street, so I've decided to spread the love by featuring a guest artist each month.

To kick off 2012 I've chosen Terra Collage Art.

Natalia takes her inspiration from colour and nature to produce individual mixed media textured art collages. They are bright, colourful and fun and would add interest to any room in your home. To find out more about Natalia and view her work have a look at the Featured Guest spot to the right of this page or follow the links below.
